"Rock on the Range" artwork has been changed

by Artist ~ANT

There was one big issue with completing the 9/11 Tribute Sculpturer sculpture on time for the Rock on the Range Concert in Columbus, Ohio.

Funding.

The concept for the sculptures, including the construction is solid. That's why I pushed this project forward and started spending money. Everyone "was" excited about the 9/11 Tribute Sculpture and there's a reason to stay excited! The sculptures continue to be built and are now due August 1, 2011.

This way ANTworkstudio can build the sculpture that is promised in time for 9/11/2011. It's the ten year anniversary and we want to do something really special. Now the funds to continue the project are defrayed over time and ANTworkstudio can afford to continue to the project.

At the Rock on the Range concert I will be showing my painting BIG. What you see in this link will be changed. BIG is a painting that was great in concept... and the execution needs some tweaking. (If you can't see the image in email visit ANTworkstudio blog to see the picture.)

Big is just that... BIG!  43 1/2 inches wide and 50 inches tall BIG!

Painted on an army tent, BIG, speaks to the environment around us, specifically to the people we meet.  It is this relationship to every person you meet, how you bring a person into yourself, incorporating their life and experiences, then flowing from you to the world.

In life relationships come and go.  As you let new people in and others move on you have been changed as a person by their influence.  With each person the cycle is repeated so as you move through your life you continue to expand, grow, and get...  BIG!

As I said, the colors need to be tweaked just a bit. I'll finish that tomorrow.

Look for a reinvigorated BIG at Rock on the Range.

I'll be around... look for me!
