Recently I finished a couple projects and I want to see what ya'll think of them. The first project was to create a new logo and website for Blue Collar Bonding. I love working with the ole red, white, and blue and feel like I'm wrapping myself in a flag patriotism. Bethany Hand, who hired me to paint her husband Randy Hand, worked on this logo with me. Her help was crucial.

Below is a look at the original concept drawing and new book cover for SMOERs: Self-Movtivation, Optimism, Encouragement Rules - Daily reminders for outstanding living.
The original idea was to make a "cartoon" graphic of a Smore. As I worked on the cover it became apparent that a cartoon wouldn't do justice to a tasty mouth-watering Smore. I wanted to invoke an emotional response so when you looked at the cover... you wanted to reach out and take it, biting into every morsel.

Love the book cover. I agree that a real picture is better than a drawing, just in this instance. Everyone will recognize the grahm cracker.
I also love your the red, white and blue logo. You did a wonderful job with it. You are quite the artist.

I don't mean to critisize, but I think it looks a little flat :p
We all agree they both look good.
